A great location being just situated on the other side of the beach. |However, obvious lack of investment in the actual site is showing. The single amenity block for dishwashing, toilets and showering is old, smells and requires a serious …

A great camp site to stay at. Booking in advance is essential as it gets busy in terms of being full. The staff are great and the toilets are spotless. If you want to know about anything local, we found the staff super helpful. Nice pitches -mostly grass, to pitch camp. There is a nice pub, and cafes and a village shop in beadnell itself. You can walk right onto the beach from here too. It's a dog friendly site as well. A great place to camp at as it is really nice, has a great location, and is easy to use as a base to visit other tourist attractions in the area.

~spent 5days here at the beginning of October .We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us available pitches to choose from ! The facilities although dated were clean and very warm .My wife used the disabled facilities which were easily accessable .The pitches were well spaced. The beach is just across the road .we would definitely come back again .

Nice level site, good size pitches, pubs, beach small store all close bit further away is Sea Houses 45 min walk along the beach and golf course. Only down side is that the toilet block needs refurbishment,it's clean and perfectly usableyou are camping, but it could be improved.

An excellent site , staff very helpful and nice. It does need more toilet and shower facilities which were quite busy and didn't seem enough for the amount of campers that were there. In a superb location close to the beach. Loads of walks to do.Can't wait to go back.

Excellent location, well-maintained grounds, and exceptional staff. We were placed near the playground, which our kids loved, but be aware that some parents have no control over their kids which could impact you if nearby or have little ones who need an earlier night. Facilities are good, but the showers are dated. Lots to do nearby, and it's a short 10-minute walk to the main beach. We'll return but deffo request a different pitch next time.

This place rated well, however not for myself and my friend, our first campervan experience we found the site sparce and unfriendly, the toilets are closed for 1.5 hours in a morning for cleaning, and there is 1 disabled toilet open for the whole time for the whole site. Too many dogs not on leads..we left a day early as we had put the engine on the evening before for 20 mins for the heating as it was wet windy and cold and apparently someone complained and said it was midnight 😳 which it wasn't. It was not value for money in fact it was quite pricey as sites go. We also experienced some unusual activity on one of the evenings where people were in and out of the bushes and flashing torches 🔦 so no I'd not return or recommend

Mature couple on holiday. This review relates to the and what is about . Not the area in general Some key points:- Ok if your paying CCC age concession prices. Otherwise it's expensive. With concessions and CCC membership £113 for 4 nights with EHU. Sea breeze and the wind can pick up some you'll need decent pegs for tents awnings etc Facilities block is the pits. . Needs a deep clean and revamp. Ceiling has flaking paint and black mould..the shower cubicles the floor doesn't have a decent run so you end up drying and changing in a puddle of shower water. If your on a pitch at the far end near the village it's a treck to the toilets and the.cassete toilet empty point. Also far end pitches road noise is an issue. Too many dogs doing poos and piss and barking. . CCC sites are popular with dog owners as dogs go free. Dogs not on lead owners "not noticing" dogs done a poo.. and having to give way to dogs and the owners on the path near the barriers where the dogs stop for a piss and a sniff before the dogy walk area. Nice kids play area. Village and near bye beach are nice.Nothing much else. Staff were nice. Decent size pitch all be it way at the end of the site Site grounds were kept clean and tidy.. Never a 4 or 5 star IMHO. Been to much better independant sites ( and some CCC sites ) for my money.
